In a season where dark colours predominated animal print stood out on this season’s catwalks, in the UK Christopher Kane’s collection featured leopard print skirts with black and white fur jackets and in Milan Blumarine, Roberto Cavalli, Just Cavalli, and Dolce & Gabbana all had animal prints on the agenda.
Roberto Cavalli sent his models down the runway in ornate dresses with sequined bodices and leopard print furs skirts, topped with animal print hats and shoes, with long black leather gloves and shades to complete this fierce look.
Head-to-toe animal print is a difficult look to carry off in real life but this dramatic look has inspired our designers to create a range of animal print shoes and ankle boots which will add edge to any outfit.
Monroe works beautifully with this season’s monochrome fashions adding interest to plain outfits or a little black dress. Alternatively if you prefer flats try Tierney in supple ponyskin.
Novello makes a statement, with it’s elegant, perfectly balanced platform heel mix this ankle boot with other animal print acessories in clashing prints to create a wearable, on-trend look. Add interest to any outfit with this season’s slipper shoe (Bloom) in fabulous leopard.
