The DUO spring summer lifestyle shoot was set in the exotic climes of Morrocco.

The team whisked off for a 5 day shoot at the beautiful Riad Enija in Marrakech. After a pretty hairy taxi ride from the airport we were deposited at a 280 year old oasis of calm slap bang in the middle of Marrakesh’s bustling medina. With hidden courtyard gardens, spectacular architechture and view of the Atlas mountains we knew this shoot would be special…

The colourful mosaics which surrounded us made the perfect back drop to our vibrant Summer shoe collection.

Charley, DUO’s fab make-up artist works at making Kristina look even more raveshing (if that’s possible!) with metallic eye-shadow hues and dewey skin, a key look for the coming summer months.

Our hosts at the Riad looked after us extremely well, we were never far away from a pot of lovely Moroccan sweet mint tea.

We took 23 pairs of shoes, 4 cameras, over 30 outfits, 20 kilos of make-up, lots of hairspray oh and of course our bikinis.

Morocco certainly is a great place for a winter sun break. Temperature soared to 32 degrees, in November!

Ah, it’s a hard life being a DUO model…

Call to prayer in the baking sun of  Marrakech. A truly magical country; we were all enchanted by the charisma, kindness and generosity of the Moroccan people. Massive thanks to Ursula and her team for looking after us.
