Design is DUO’s first love. Inspiring to our own people, great design keeps our customer’s wardrobes fresh, up-to-date and working for them. Our in-house team expertly take all DUO products from conception to production. Drawn from different backgrounds and age groups, our designers spend as much time as possible on shop floors and online, talking to customers around the world and understanding what more we can do as their favourite footwear brand.

It is this attention to customer detail that led to our first range of tailored boots, our transition into tailored shoes, new workwear and boutique ranges, a larger selection of higher heels for occasions and most recently our first bag collection. Each born of feedback and testament to a remarkable empathy and understanding of customers.

We serve women who love great design, enjoy expressing their individuality through footwear, who want to reference trends but not slavishly follow them. Many of our customers aren’t afraid to try something new so we’re always on the look out for the next trend, attending the big fashion shows and keeping an eye on the latest celebrity styling. Yet through our own love of shoes, we know many of our customers are relaxed in their own style. So whilst ensuring our customers remain current we also ensure they can invest in quality for the longer term.

Drawing inspiration from spectacular landscapes in the English countryside, our earthy natural colours translate beautifully into leathers for more classic styles. Yet two of our team are city girls at heart and never happier than when walking down one of Europe’s landmark shopping streets. This helps us design styles that make our customers look confident, stylish & glamorous in both urban and rural environments. From everyday basics to fashionable occasionwear and key seasonal pieces, DUO design meets the needs of busy, modern and well-informed women.
