No doubt about the quality, but the foot size is generous. I think it would be helpful if customers were asked for foot length when ordering.

I tried on in store and was suprised to be a 39 (foot and calf) even through I am usually a 40/41 in the foot. So they do come up VERY big. But when delivered I was worried I had made a mistake as they felt so tight. But wore today for the first time after trying to wear in around the house and I think they will easily stretch to be a good fit. Look lovely and feel sturdy.

Berns boots were a christmas present who reports the boots were fab but the leather heel is already nearly requiring a re heel - not a problem but could be better leather. overall boots look good & fit well

This style is a great weekend option, with the casual leg and generous ankle fit. A great style for those wanting more room at the ankle ankles or tuck in your jeans with a wool sock for that cosy feel. Consider the smaller calf size if you fall in between. Similarly with a generous foot if you are between sizes opt for the smaller foot size.
