the soles are quite flat and could probably do with additional rubber soles to thicken them up and prevent slippage as they slip a bit on smooth surfaces.

These are good brown flat boots for all day wear, but as with DUO's boots these days, the ankles start bagging on the first wear which make them uncomfortable.

Years spent returning boots to the rack because they look like wellies have finally ended. At last a pair of boots that is comfortable and fits like a glove at the calf. My only criticism is that Duo kept itself hidden from me for so long. If only I'd had Duo boots 30 years ago. Lovely deep rich brown, smooth, chic lines and perfect fit. Utterly perfect.
