I bought a wider fit than I expected to need, to provide room for a cosy insole. I'm glad I went for the wider fit, as it is just right. The high front of the boot irritated my shin when I wore thin socks, but with thick ones, the boot is nice and comfortable, keeping my feet warm. The laces kept slipping off the hooks, which is annoying. Looks great with jeans, have still to try them with smarter trousers.

length was fine, width a bit tight. Going up a width was not an option, the laces are together as it is. Ended up stretching them a bit.

I bought these last Spring, so perhaps they have been altered. They are my 4th pair purchased from DUO but not the rave the others were. The colouring is far too antiqued, they look odd. As others said the laces needed replacing (easily done), the eyelets rub on my ankle and the length is too short. I should have returned them at the time. I did exchange them in the hope that the antique finish might be less over the top, but it was the same.
