Meet the team behind your favourite footwear brand.
The undoubted ‘boss of the office’ is Sala, a 3 year old Jack Russell who resides in the DUO marketing department.
Sala always casts her eyes over the new collections and gives them a ‘woof’ of approval. She has joined in the excitement of our new website launch by spending most of the time fast asleep in her specially made shoe box bed!
We’re only a little bit jealous!
Our DUO Girl Illustrations were created by Illustrator Charley B while sat at her cosy little desk, surrounded by sweet jars overflowing with colours, gem-like phials of ink, pots bursting with glitter and paint brushes every size you could imagine.
She fell in love with Illustration from a very early age, taking inspiration from fashionable characters with quirky style, preferably with a small dog in tow as you will see by her Greetings Card range 'The Skinny Pins' which are available in Boutiques all over the UK. See Charley's blog here.
Here at DUO we are justifiably proud of our Queen’s award for International Trade. Announced on Her Majesty’s birthday, the Awards are the UK’s highest accolade for business success. They are made each year by The Queen, on the advice of the Prime Minister, who is assisted by an Advisory Committee.
DUO’s CEO Nick Sinfield commented: “To receive an award in Jubilee year seems extra special, and to have responded so positively to the government’s call to action on exports leaves us in no doubt of our contribution to the wider economy. At the same time we’re proud to have fostered so many new relationships with European customers through a period of instability in the Eurozone – it reflects very well on our unique blend of style and tailoring."
Our award takes pride of place in our offices in Frome, Somerset.
