Buying boots as a gift – the ‘NO SURPRISE’ method

There are three crafty ways you can buy DUO boots (or shoes) with a little input from the lucky recipient:

She can create her very own DUO wish list with any boots in her size and style that catch her eye. All she needs to do is email you her choices, leaving you with the quick and easy bit to sort out… placing the order.

Buying boots as a gift… the ‘COMPLETE SURPRISE’ method

This is a tricky one - but here are a few helpful hints:

Step 1: Know her foot size

Easy peasy. Just look at the rest of her shoe collection. DUO boots are selected using the continental sizing scale. Here’s a chart to help you out with those fiddly conversions.

Step 2: Know her leg size (or foot measurements for width fit shoes)

In order for us to provide the perfect fitting boots, we need to know her calf width. That’s the circumference of her leg, remembering to measure the widest point of the calf.

Sounds totally impossible? Try asking a sister or close friend to help you out. But first you’ll need to arm yourselves with a fabric tape measure (or a piece of string and a ruler). Gentlemen please note: the metal tape measure in your tool box will not do this job!

Step 3: Choose a style she’ll like
